Woo Hoo! Stocks are Falling!

For the past year, there have been some stocks that I've been watching, hoping for the opportunity to buy at certain levels. Thanks to the recent market declines, it appear I just may get my chance. Many of these businesses are slow growers. People tend to forget that if you combine a good enough business with a low enough price-to-earning ratio, a fat dividend yield, and the ability to reinvest those dividends tax-free through an IRA account, the results can be very good given enough time.

If you feel the urge to cry over these drops, remember the words of Buffett: When prices decline, neither weep nor mourn. You may find it helpful to read Understanding Bear Markets and Price is Paramount.
