Whether you own shares of common stock directly, through a brokerage, or invest in a 401k offered by your employer, the last week on Wall Street might seem nutty to you. Share prices are bouncing all over the place and no one seems to know what to do about the sub-prime mortgage mess. To help calm your nerves this weekend, here is a list of five things you can do to avoid getting creamed by the volatility that has seized the financial markets.
