Warren Buffett’s 2007 Berkshire Hathaway Shareholder Letter Released

The 2007 letter to Berkshire Hathaway shareholders from famed investor Warren Buffett was released this week on the company’s website, free for anyone who wanted to browse over, click, and download it (in fact, all of the shareholder letters back through the 1970’s are there, as well). Buffett, who has taken Berkshire’s stock price from $8 per share in the 1960’s to more than $140,000 today, has arguably the greatest capital allocation record in history and is unquestionably one of the best executive motivators in his capacity overseeing a team more than sixty CEO’s that manage the day-to-day operating enterprises. i would just like to say i admire warren buffett, it is amazing how you can become a billionare 5 times over. here i am retired from the city of new york as a correction captain after completing 20 years of duty.i just recently tried to borrow 70,000 to pay off bills which they would not give me, due to the drop in real estate. and i was just sitting here saying i wonder what 70,000 is to mr. buffett probably 10 dollars. it is just amazing to think about. here i am sending my 3 daughters to college 1 graduates grade school this may. and here i am trying to figure how to pay these bills. so i am trying to tell my daughters not to be like me, continue your education and never say you made enough money, because like is a struggle
