Some Great Stocks ...

Sunday April 6, 2008
The markets finally seem to be calming, but this is both good and bad - good because the average person will probably be able to sleep better at night, bad because there are some unbelievable businesses with mouth-watering economics, talented management, with long history of share repurchases and cash dividends trading at less than 10x earnings. For people or institutions with a long-term outlook, such as a pension fund, these opportunities are fantastic. There are companies that I've wanted to own that were trading at such high multiples relative to their intrinsic value that I never thought I'd get a chance - and that was only a year ago.

Keep up the faith, look for bargains, and be responsible. Don't take risks you can't afford, especially if there is the chance that you might have to sell out when your portfolio has been hit hard.

Nice enough article, yours usually are, but this one does not mention one single stock. What are some of the stocks you are thinking of??

Please don’t keep those stocks a secret. Share them - otherwise why post the article? Thanks.

We’re really happy for you and the fact that you can now buy the stocks that you want. “Some Great Stock” is a good title for your article if you, but a better one would be: “Are You Guys Happy That I Can Now Buy The Stocks That I Always Wanted?”.
