How Has the Credit Crisis Affected You?

Saturday November 15, 2008
I'm working on about half a dozen new pieces of content to help you survive and thrive in the credit crisis, but I need to get a general sense of what people are feeling out there in terms of their own retirement (not what you hear on the news or read in the paper). Will you take a second to let us know how you've reacted to the falling stock market? This could help me shape future articles so I know to address your concerns.

(1) Ryan says:

Well, I am 32 so I’m prepared to ride this out for a decade or more.

It’s my parents who are concerned as they are 60 and feel as if they won’t be able to retire any time soon.

So far, I have convinced them not to sell and lock in their losses but I worry about a prolonged recession.

Have you viewed Tim Martenson’s Crash Course? Google it and watch it. Very interesting even if partially true.
