Baretta - Resources

Beverly Hills Buntz
Norman Buntz, the former detective on "Hill Street Blues" moves to Beverly Hills and tries his hand at a detective agency. Dennis Franz dumped this project and moved on to NYPD Blue.
B.L. Stryker
B.L. Stryker lives on a boat in sunny Flordia. When he's not solving crimes, he's dealing with his bizarre neighbors. Burt Reynolds and Ossie Davis starred.
Blue Thunder
A sort-lived series starring James Farentino and Dana Carvey. A high-tech helicopter battles crime in the City.
Booker
The series was a spin-off of 21 Jump Street. Richard Grieco left Jump Street and took his character, "Dennis Booker" with him to the new series.
Boston Blackie - Resources
A tough, hard-nosed private eye who did battle with the bad guys each week. The TV series spun off from the radio show program by the same name.
Brooklyn South
This was another series from Steven Bochco about life in a Brooklyn police precinct. It depicted the lives of the officers as well as those of the victims.
Burke's Law
Gene Barry starred as Captain Amos Burke. He was the Chief of Detectives for the LAPD and was driven around in his chauffered limo. This was a pretty good show.

Cannon - Resources
Frank Cannon was not your stereotypical private eye. Played by William Conrad, he would rather eat than do leg work, hiring a 'hunk' played by Lee Horsley to do the leg work for him. Cannon could be seen driving around town in his Lincoln.
Car 54, Where Are You?
The hilarious exploits of Francis and Gunther and the rest of the gang of the 53rd Precinct. I wish they'd bring this show back to reruns. A true classic!
Charlie's Angels - Resources
Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and Farrah Fawcett are three "lovely" young women who work for "Charlie" (the voice of John Forsythe) in his detective agency. Each week, the three of them go undercover to thwart the bad guys without (for the most part) using guns, relying instead on their beauty and brains!
CHiPS - Resources
Eric Estrada (Officer Francis “Ponch” Poncherello) and Larry Wilcox (Officer Jonathan Baker) show us what life is like as a California Highway Patrol Motorcycle cop. Each week these "Chips" cruise the highways of L.A. County to handle traffic accidents and crime.
City Detective
This series ran from 1953 to 1955 and starred Rod Cameron as Detective Lieutenant Bart Grant, a hard-nosed city cop who hated bad guys!
City of Angels
This series starred Wayne Rogers as Jake Axminster and Elaine Joyce played his secretary Marsha. Jake fights crime with some very uncoventional methods.
