Every year, capitalists throughout the world flock to Omaha, Nebraska to attend the
Berkshire Hathaway shareholder meeting and hear famed investors Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger hold forth on topics ranging from basic capital allocation to executive compensation. The event, which brought nearly 30,000 people to the city this year, starts with a cocktail reception at one of the companys many jewelry stores, Borsheims, and ends with a shareholder dinner at Buffetts favorite steakhouse, Gorrats. As Ive done in the past (see
coverage of last years shareholder meeting if you missed it), I consider it an honor to take along my About.com readers for a glimpse into what has become the biggest event in the
value investing world.
