2007 Berkshire Hathaway Shareholder Meeting

The traditional “welcome” to Berkshire Hathaway shareholders consists of a cocktail reception at Borsheim’s, the world’s second largest jewelry store behind on the flagship Tiffany & Company location in Manhattan. This private event features enormous discounts off some of the best merchandise in the world, sometimes upwards of 30% or more. As shareholders peruse the floor, sipping Coca-Cola or Grey Goose vodka, picking up everything from fine Montblanc fountain pens to Cartier watches, live entertainment plays in the central court of the Regency shopping center. In fact, the event is so impressive from a volume standpoint, that many manufacturers send their own sales reps to promote their respective merchandise.
